This week has been full of wonderful spring sunshine. As a result the chickens and geese are laying at great pace. What do you do with upwards of 8 goose eggs and 20 hens eggs every day? Thankfully, the first few days worth of fresh eggs are off to nestle quietly in the incubator for a month or so to breed more happy hens. As for the rest... well, they've come in very handy for boiled eggs and soldiers, butterfly buns and cheese souffle so far this week. Roll on spring, soon be planting in the garden again.

no doubt about to scrap up the fresh shoots of my emerging perennials. Ggrrrrrrr ! Worms & bugs fine, but please leave the plants alone girls.
